The Titanic Phenomenon: 110 Years Later

The 110th Anniversary of the Titanic

Thank you to everyone who attended this very informative and though provoking program. 


A 2002 graduate of Pentucket Regional Schools, Kate studied the Titanic in college, earned a degree in History and her senior thesis was titled “From Maritime Disaster to Hollywood Blockbuster: Commercialism and the Titanic Sinking.” 

 Kate was the first intern at the Titanic Branson attraction in Branson, Missouri, earned a Masters Certificate in Museum Studies, interned at the Custom House Maritime Museum and curated her first exhibit on the Titanic in 2012, for the 100th year anniversary of the sinking, featuring all original pieces from her Titanic collection. As an historical consultant Kate voyaged on the 100th anniversary cruise of the Titanic in 2012.
